Catholic thieves arrested
Three suspects are in police custody in Limbe, Soouthern Malawi and goods worth over $ 2,142(United States dollars) have been recovered, Police have said.
According to sources at Limbe Police the suspects were caught at their home in Makhetha, a location in Limbe.
The Police were tipped by the general public about the stolen goods and went to arrest them around 3 a.m.
Among the recovered items are mattresses, bed covers and pillows.
The suspects are Gracian Supiliano from Blantyre District, Wilson banda from Blantyre District and Charles Adam from Mulanje.
Recently Police in Malawi have formed community policing to curb theft .
The initiative has seen many thieves getting arrested after tips from the general public.
