“CB Series :India won the Fourth International One Day Cricket by 5 wickets !!”

       For the first time India won an one day International cricket match at MCG Australia, the fourth in the triangular series against Australia by five wickets,thanks to the four wicket haul by the India’s new bowling sensation Ishant Sharma, who captured the all important wickets of Mathew Hayden,the skipper Ricky Ponting, Andrew Symmonds and Stuart Clarke,while Sreesanth captured three wickets,Irfan Pathan two wickets,Harbajan Singh capturing one wicket.

    India chased the target fairly easily loosing five wickets with useful contributions from Rohit Sharma with 39 runs not out and the Indian skipper 17 not out.Ishant Sharma was chosen the man of the match for his match winning performance of claiming four wickets.

     With the win,both Australia and India have topped the table with 9 points each, both teams have been credited with a bonus point in each game they won.

   India’s win over the world champions Australia at MCG is creditable achievement and the captaincy of Dhoni in particular was laudable.
