A certain audible growth has grasped our home grown Quebec-Core bands’ writing process, not that is entirely original, but indeed A Perfect Murder have come close to putting out … A Perfect Album. Straight –laced metalcore, which is relentless in the brutality dept. and maintains a good dose of lyrical severity, from vocalist Kevin Randel.

Produced , recorded mixed and mastered (whew) by Pierre Remillard, who has helmed the boards for acts such as The End, Cryptopsy, and Misery Index to name a few. The sound at times is contrived, but this by no means is an excuse to flip through the tracks at a rapid pace. This is the third release by APM for Victory Records and their last.

The band is breaking up and have released a statement. An excerpt from this is as follows:

“Hi Metal Heads. what\’s going on? Well i guess this is the right time. Or is there any right time for this?

A Perfect Murder is officially breaking up. There are a lot of things that could be discussed about but we don\’t wanna go that way. We\’d like to think about all the good things music has bring to us over the last 7 years. We\’ve met a lot of people, made a lot friends, traveled to places that we thought we would never go.

1 Demo, 2 Ep\’s and 4 LPs later we are very proud to say that we, A Perfect Murder, has achieved something truly remarkable. We\’d like to thanks the Quebec hardcore/Metal scene for all the support since we\’ve started. This, also goes out to everybody that have supported us and helped us out over the last couple of years. Thank you so much.”
