U.S. President George W.Bush’s daughter Ms.Jenna Bush was married to Virginia Republican Charmian’s son, Mr.Henry Hagger on Saturday in a private function in which about 200 close family members and friends were present.
The wedding which was described as a private affair took place without the attendance of the Press before a limestone altar with a giant cross erected on Bush’s 1600 acre ranch. According to private reports, Jenna Bush’s twin sister, Barbara Bush played the role of maid of Honor while Jack brother of Hager was the best man. Besides, there were 14 female attendants and an equal number of male ushers.
Rumors were rife as to whether she would retain her maiden name and where the couple would spend their honeymoon; but, there were more firmer reports about their settling down in Baltimore where she would work as a teacher and he would work for Constellation Energy.
Though the wedding was private in nature, Crawford Business persons made a hey while the sun was shining with the gift shops reporting roaring sales of ‘Jenna & Henry" souvenir coffee mugs, mouse pads, Christmas ornaments and key chains.
