Central University Andolan samiti Jammu gets support of various bodies

Jammu, (Vijay Kumar) – Central University Andolan samiti on Sunday evening managed to garner support of various social, religious and trade bodies apart from bringing political leaders of different shades on one platform. Large number of Jammu based legisaltors took pledge and stressed it is the time to unite and fight  for the common cause of Jammu

During the meeting the central university andolans Samiti projected a strong voice of Jammu and emphasised, "in the long struggle aimed at ending discrimination with the Jammu region elected representaives are required to play most important and decisive role and must be ready to act now".

Congress MP from Jammu-Udhampur Madan Lal Sharma said the central unversity would be set up in Jammu and Revenue minister  is already on the job to complete the required formalities. He said we have no objections if centre is inclined towards allocating another university for Kashmir region. 

Independent MLA Ashwani Sharma in his address said  indscrimination with Jammu region would not be  tolerated abymore and time has come  to put up a united voice agaisnt the Kashmiri leadership

Addressing the gathering organised by the Central University Andolan Samiti (CUAS), Prof ChamanLal Gupta and state BJP Preident Ashok Khajuria said  Jammu had always been discriminated in the hands of Kashmir-centric leadership but now it is a wake up call for Jammu. Former PDP legislator Manjeet Singh said the National conferene led coalition government is playing spoil sport over the issue of central universiy.he said when the site of the university was already approved and PM had made an announcement why at all politics is being played over the issue.
