Interacting with the locals, Bhalla said Government has accorded sanction to the transfer of Irrigation and Flood Control department land measuring 58 kanals 08 marlas on the left side of main Ranbir canal at RD 26465M in village Rakh Raipur for the rehabilitation purpose. He urged the people not to start any construction within 50 feet of the canal area.
The Minister apprised the people there was no constraint of funds as UPA Government headed by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is providing liberal funding to the state Government for completing the ongoing projects in a time bound manner besides initiating new development works.
