Chamarkun football team clinched G.D. Lingland team with 2:1 goal in final match.
CHITRAL: The final football match was played between G.D. Lingland School and College and Government High School Chamarkun. The Chamarkun team won the match with 2 goals while the G.D. Lingland School team scored only 1 goal and thus Govt. High School Chamarkun declared winner team.
Nazim Union Council Chitral III Shamsher Khan was chief guest on the occasion who distributed trophy and cup to winner and runner up teams on behalf of the district. Nazim Aitizaz Hassain, captain of winning team, was declared man of the match while Danyal Ahmad, captain of G.D. Lingland School team, was declared best player. The final match was held on the parade ground of Government Centennial Model High School Chitral.
The Nazim UC announced that students must to participate in positive and constructive games to save themselves from social evils and drugs. He stressed that students should also continue their studies along with games.
