Charlie Sheen loves Sports, especially Baseball. That’s why he bought Babe Ruthe’s 1927 World Series Ring or a ball from the 1986 World Series, which he bought for $90000 in the 1990s. Now several sources reported that Sheen paid $230000 for Lawrence Taylor’s Super Bowl XXV Ring from 1991. The ring was sold at SCP Auctions in Laguna Niguel, California, on Thursday.
SCP Auctions was founded in 1979, and is one of the nation’s largest auctioneers and private sellers of important sports memorabilia and cards. They have sold cards for over $3 million and Babe Ruthe’s NY Yankees Contract for $900000.
Sheen brushed off the claims, “LawrenceTaylor’s Ring? As much as I would be honored to own such an important artifact… I had nothing to do with the acquisition.” The ring was up for auction because Taylor had given the ring to his son, who had chosen to sell it.
