After the Arroyo administration and its allies succeeded in removing the sitting House speaker a week ago, the government is now planning to revive the proposed charter change. Congressmen and local executives allied with the president are trying to move heaven and earth to tackle the issue of cha-cha at the lower house of representatives.
The politicos a.k.a the greedy-guts collectively in agreement to finally push through with their devious plans to amend the constitution so as to extend and prolong their stay in power. The proponents wants to cha-cha now because 2010 is fast approaching and they don’t want to be replaced of their positions.
The greedy-guts in the administration are now in the middle of cooking the “broth of deception” to bring the people to their party and dance to the tune of cha-cha. The greedy-guts are drumbeating cha-cha and telling the people that cha-cha is good for the country.
They act like god-send angels talking about messages of hope and deliverance from poverty, hunger and other social ills that the Philippines are suffering now. But in the contrary, they represent darkness and doom because cha-cha or charter change is only for their own good but not for the whole country.
