CHEAPEST CAR OF THE WORLD COSTING 600 US DOLLARS

A four seater car costing only 600 US dollars has been developed by 11 students of

Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology, Amritsar, Punjab, India and that too

within a month.Its specifications (rough) are :

·         Weight=75 kilograms

·         Height=4 feet

·         Length=6 feet

·         Tyres=4 (5^th extra)

·         Automatic transmission

·         Carrying capacity=500 kilograms

·         Seats=4

·         Speed=40 kilometres per hour

·         Reverse gear facility

The car was prepared as aproject assignment using tyres of Maruti Suzuki 800 and

shock absorbers of Rajdoot motorcycle and Bajaj Scooter.
