A long road trip might be one of the most memorable things you would do with your family or friends. However, if you aren’t well prepared, the memories might well turn to be a nightmare! Coolant check

If in case that your vehicle suffers from a coolant leak in the road, you engine will overheat and may break down completely. You can always pour in extra coolant via the radiator pipes to ensure that your journey is safe and completed as planned.

A map

If you are going to a new place, a map is mandatory. You don’t want to be asking around too much and more importantly, to be wrongly directed. It’s always good to note down all addresses and destinations you will be visiting. Saving your map in your smart device too can help you navigate comfortably.

Lights!

Thoroughly ignored by many, but proper car lighting can be a life savior on the road. Regardless of whether you are driving at night, you must always check for any broken bulbs, old and damaged wires and related things. Broken car lights can also attract penalties depending on the rules of administration. It will be a good idea to get your vehicle checked with a mechanic and ask them to focus on these small but specific issues.

Tires
