Cherry Trees Lining The Riverside

Poetry From The Heart

Fragrant riverside cherry trees
blossoms of untold beauty
striking beautiful poses
as the wind gusts hit their limbs
a massive canvas painted as the moon’s
radiance shines forming lines of grandeur.

The river snatches up the images to reflect
astounding even the owls perched in saplings
outlining blooms lining its shore
scents fill the air with a hypnotizing bribery
frozen in time and in the moment
among flowers stunning my movements.

Ah, the captivating images I stand among
reminiscent to glorious dreams of dazzle and sparkle
as I breathe in its majesty and glory
take a visual photograph to hold onto for eternity
never to allow it to escape from my memory
the blossoms of the riverside cherry trees.
