A new hypersonic vehicle was detected traveling at extremely high speeds during the flight test over China, according to multiple reports.
The vehicle is a new ultra-high speed missile vehicle aimed at delivering nuclear warheads through U.S. missile defenses at speeds in excess of 10 times the speed of light.
The speed of light (in vacuum, commonly denoted c), is a universal physical constant important in many areas of physics. Its value is exactly 299,792,458 meters per second.
A such speeds the Chinese could destroy major cities in the United States in less than 60 minutes after launch. At such incredible speeds you would be unaware of an attack until after it happened, said one military source who refused to be identified for fear of being punished by superiors for speaking on such matters to “non approved” media sources.
The hypersonic craft appears designed to be launched atop one of China’s intercontinental ballistic missiles, and then glides and maneuvers to its target at breakneck speed.
A Pentagon spokesman apparently confirmed the Chinese test launch:
“We routinely monitor foreign defense activities and we are aware of this test,” Lt. Col. Jeffrey Pool, a Marine Corps spokesman, told the Washington Free Beacon.
“However, we don’t comment on our intelligence or assessments of foreign weapon systems,” Pool said in a statement. “We encourage greater transparency regarding their defense investments and objectives to avoid miscalculation,” he added (source: http://freebeacon.com/china-conducts-first-test-of-new-ultra-high-speed-missile-vehicle/).
We called the Pentagon on this story for comment and verification of facts in this case but officials adamantly refused to do so with “non approved” media sources. like Ground Report and other citizen news organizations.
We also tried “unsuccessfully” to reach Lt. Col. Pool U.S.M.C. (via the Pentagon) to verify the facts he originally disclosed in this matter- which is being reported by almost major news network on earth.
It should be noted that Russia, the United States, India and China are are all actively engaged in a hypersonic arms race.
All four nations are described by sources as aggressively developing high-speed aerospace vehicles.
Hypersonic weapons use cutting edge technology for flying and maneuvering at ultra-high speeds in space and air and represent a new dangerous evolution of nuclear arms in the world today.
