Chinese Olympian Junquan He Swims Without Hands

I didn’t see the Paralympic Games in China although I am Chinese. I saw an article talking about one of the Chinese athletes, Junquan HE. He is a swimmer without hands. He got one Gold, two Silver and one Bronze in the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. Without hands, he must use more effort and has to hit the wall of the swimming pool with his head for each turn.

Honestly speaking, I can’t imagine how he can do that. But he does do it. He can write with feet, MSN with feet, and even change his watch with the feet! I can’t change my watch with my hands! Moreover, he laughs constantly.

If he can do it, why can’t we?
