Within the last several months, celebrities have been weighing in on the United States Presidential race between Democratic Presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama of Illinois and Republican Presidential nominee Senator John McCain of Arizona. But then again, what the celebrities have to say does not really matter. Also, voters should not be swayed by what the celebrities have to say on the matter as well.
Comedian Chris Rock had some interesting things to say about McCain. Though, it is highly unlikely that whatever Rock says will have an influence on the elections. But, Rock’s input is quite entertaining indeed.
Let it be known that the comedian is throwing his support behind Obama. He said that it is a matter of time before McCain gets knocked out in the ring. Rock said that McCain is simply holding on before receiving the knock out punch.
Rock said that Obama is more grounded with the average American. He also noted that McCain has “twelve houses.” To Rock, therefore, McCain’s not grounded with the average American.
Humorously enough, Rock said that a person like McCain can lose at least five houses.
Rock said this: “I’ll go with the guy with one house. The guy with one house is scared about losing his house.”
In regards to the economic bailout in which no agreement has been reached, Rock said that McCain got hit hard in the gut. Rock also adds that he is supporting Obama, not because he’s black.
In a nutshell, Rock said that he rather support the guy with one house instead of the guy with twelve houses.
