CHITRAL: Deputy Commissioner Chitral hailed role of Civil Society who work shoulder by shoulder with government by enhancing capacity of line departments. He was chief guest at Thrive Chitral Integrated Area Development Program (CIADP) on the occasion of distribution ceremony of equipments to government organizations. Addressing on the occasion of distribution of equipments to line departments DC Chitral Muhammad Shauib Jadoon said that we can enhance and improve our capacity and efficiency not only by using latest machines but our commitment, dedication, honesty and determination. He stressed upon the heads of line departments to work hard and provide relief to public. Managing Director of Thrive Azar Ayaz said that we work with district government as well as with local support organizations (LSO) for improvement and betterments of Chitral. He said that we have already provided computers, printers, photo copier, fax machines, UPS and scanners to health, Education, Finance department and DC office worth 3.8 million. He said that presently we distributing 27 computers, 18 printers machines, 23 UPS, 10 stabilizers, 6 photocopier (multi purpose Photostat machines) 5 fax machines, 6 scanners, 1 monitor and 7 wireless access point (Wi Fi) to Agriculture, Agri Engineering, social welfare department, live stock, communication and works, public health and Revenue department worth 5.407 million.
He emphasized on representatives of line department for its best utilization and provision of best service to local community. Some representatives of LSO talking to this scribe raised the issue that C&W department is a rich department who earning million of rupees but CIADP also provided them Computers and other equipments it should to be provided to Local support organization who work on volunteer basis for betterment of poor people. A large number of people were present on the occasion. These equipments were provided to line department on the recommendation of Chitral District Government.
