It also guarantees 100% content security at all stages. Cinemeta has invested in the best quality D-cinema equivalent solution which has a resolution for projectors with over 2 million pixels that delivers superior fidelity with no generation loss with high colour & depth. All the digital movie exhibitors in India are using E-cinema which is low cost solution used for digital movies exhibition having 1 to 1.4 million pixel resolution projectors & do not conform to Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI). Indian viewers enjoy colour depth and saturation more than in any part of the world. Cinemeta therefore uses 10bit colour depth at capture unlike most digital exhibitors in India who use only 8bit colour depth because of technology limitations of their compression method.

 

Cinemeta is executing its plans to acquire & manage 2,000 single screen cinemas in India, which will be enhanced digitally and infrastructural vise so as to provide an optimum movie-viewing experience to the masses. The refurbished theatres will offer not only simultaneous national release of new movies, but also food courts, gaming zones & utility services in one premise with quality ambience. Cinemeta has taken special measures for the safety & security of women, children and families in interiors towns which is the main concern of these families to shy away to see movies in single screen theaters.  All the theaters have installed ERP software at the theaters to enable real time data capture and reporting. This system provides 100% transparency thereby plugging in the extensive revenue leakage that is currently rampant in almost every stage of movie business.

Till date, Cinemata has signed over 200 MoUs for commercial association with single screen theater owners across India. It has successfully launched 21 theatres in Gujarat under the brand name ‘Cinemagic’. Cinemeta plans to have 100 theaters under its management by December 2008. The company aims to revolutionize the entertainment industry by setting up the biggest exhibition company in the country.

Cinemeta Entertainments (I) Pvt. Ltd. is the latest venture from World Media Group as its promoter who comes with a proven track record of establishing successful business ventures in different industries across the world like the Sony television network in India. World Media Group has to its credit the setting up of one of India‘s largest Television Broadcasting Network, a NASDAQ listed company, a BSE listed company, DTH operations in Australia and New Zealand amongst many others. Cinemeta is their first foray in the Indian soil. The company currently operates from Mumbai and has a regional office in Ahmedabad.
