The Clackamas County Fair opened today in Canby, Oregon. Last year the six-day fair attracted 144,000 visitors and this year fair organizers are hoping for even more attendees.
The Clackamas County Fair sticks to its roots and showcases the county’s thriving agriculture. Competitions in livestock, crafts, and cooking draw hundreds of entries each year.
Local musicians will perform at the Clackamas County Fair, alongside various food booths and carnival rides.
Many will participate in the Cookie Jar Parade, an annual favorite of the locals.
