A new study by German Researchers found that healthy teeth might help to protect the heart by preventing cardiac infection. Researchers of Society for Cardiology, Heart and Circulatory Research (DGK) in Cologne were credited to have released this new finding. Proper oral hygiene can prevent heart infections known as endocarditis, which start when bacteria finds their way to blood, according to the researchers.
