Cleanliness campaign kicked at District Jail Chitral.

CHITRAL: On the direction of Inspector General of Prison KP cleanliness campaign kicked at district jail Chitral. Additional Assistant Commissioner Mazhar Ali Shah was chief guest on the occasion. Addressing to the cleanliness drive Riaz Ahmad superintendent district Jail Chitral said that on directive of Inspector General Prison cleanliness campaign was kicked at Chitral jail like other parts of Khyber Pahtonkhwa. (KP) he said that main objective of this campaign to sensitize the prisoners inside the jail about importance of physical and mentally cleanliness. He said that in a clean environment citizens always think positive and they can be saved from different sickness.
Chief guest AAC Mazhar Ali shah said that Islam also emphasized on cleanliness and it’s a part of our faith. He said that Jail is a place where most of people became a good citizen after proper reform. He stressed upon the prisoners to be saved from social and physical dirtiness and to became a beneficial citizen to play vital role in society. Social worker Rahmat Ali Jafar was also present on the occasion. A function was held in this connection with he recitation from the Holy Quran by a prisoner and intellectual highlighted importance of cleanliness.
He properly inaugurated the cleanliness campaign by cutting the ribbon to kick the drive.
On concluding the function the chief guest AAC Mazhar Ali Shah kicked the campaign by sweeping the jail and emphasized on other to must keep clean your surrounding to be saved from diseases.
In cleanliness campaign prisoners of Jail, staff, district administration and social workers participated on volunteer basis and clean the jail. Talking to this scribe Mazhar Ali Shah, Riaz Ahmad and a prisoner said that we are very happy by launching this campaign and want to give a message to other people to keep their surrounding clean so as to be saved from diseases.
