Dr Saeid Bahaloohareh a member of the Iranian Tilicho Peak Expedition – Autum 2008 went missing from October 28, 2008 stated Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA)
A search team of 12 members was devised under the coordination of Bikram Neupane, President of HRA on November 6, 2008 to find whereabouts of the climber. The team led by Nawang Nima Sherpa, the president f NIMA though couldn’t find the body of Dr. Bahaloohareh, managed to recover his, such as back pack, first aid kit and climbing boots. The team has claimed Dr. Saeid to have fallen from the cliff at an altitude of 6600M to the cave below 850ft. The search was conducted for seven days.
