Clinging To Life, Why?

For all of my brethren, male and female, Christian, Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, Anglican,  or Jew, or  Muslim, or Hindu, or, whatever faith you might be, even if you have no faith at all and only believe in yourself, this question this wakeup call if you will, applies to each and every one of us walking the face of this earth today.

As a member of the Human Race, why do we as mere simple humans fight so hard to scratch out and cling to every second of human existence we can?

As Christians we know and we believe that we are spiritual beings, merely inhabiting our human mortal bodies for a brief period of time.

If we look at this objectively and truthfully, in our heart of hearts we must realize and believe through our faith in God and our faith in God’s Holy Word, that God and God alone can control and is in control.

Whether one accepts it or not, God placed us inside this body we inhabit, and, when the time comes, God will call us back to him. Not even the Atheist or Agnostic can dispute this for they can find no other explanation to their own existence, or their own demise.

From the moment of conception, to the moment we breathe out last breath as a human, we fight for our existence. For some it is an easy fight, for others it is a struggle, and for others still it is downright impossible, yet still we try.

The question we must ask ourselves is WHY?

We will spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on doctors, prescriptions, and surgical procedures, trying to squeeze out as much time as we possibly can to remain here on earth, here in our human forms, hoping beyond hope to cheat death, to cheat God. We know deep down that we are not meant to be here, we are only here because some higher being, God, has placed us here in order to carryout that which he has required of us, and then like it or not we will be here no more, at least not in a fleshly form. Yet still we cling to our fleshly existence. WHY?  Satan is the master of the lie and the master of deception and it is he filling our minds with all of this nonsense.

In truth, spiritually we can and we will live, but our mortality, our physicality must die. Our fleshly existence must cease so that our spirituality can move on to the heavens to return to our creator to God.

No I am not advocating nor suggesting suicide. That is not what this is all about. It is about accepting the normal path that we all are placed upon, and not trying to fight the inevitable. We live and we must die, and trying to stretch our time is a waste of time, for if God decides that our time is up, arguing is useless we cannot fight that which God has pre-destined.

Here is a special point for the women of the world. Yearly you spend billions maybe trillions of dollars trying to improve your looks, trying to cheat time with cosmetics, makeup, surgical procedures, diets and the likes. The truth, the fact is, you cannot for even one second improve upon the natural beauty of yourself given you by God. To believe you can, is believing in a lie and we all know who the “Author” of the lie is.

Personally speaking now, I am 66 years of age. I do not know how long God needs me here on earth to serve him, but I will live my life and live it fully day by day which is all anyone of us can do. High blood pressure, or not, high cholesterol or not, aches and pains or not, I will enjoy every day to the fullest that God permits, and I happily and eagerly look forward to the day when my beloved Father and Creator Almighty God calls me home to heaven .
