US Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton while addressing a crowd of 5,000 people at the Fort Worth Stockyards has decided to make a “contract” with them. Clinton has asked the voters to enter into a verbal contract with her. In preparation for the March 4 contests, Clinton has asked voters to hold her “accountable” if she becomes president of the United States.
In that regard: “You give me the vote and the trust that comes with the confidence that represents, and I give you my best effort every single day to translate all these speeches in to action because there is a big difference between speeches and solutions.”
Clinton continued to attack rival Democratic frontrunner Barack Obama on his experience. She said that Obama’s campaign is nothing but a bunch of words put together.
These remarks come before the March 4 contests in which Texas will be holding two contests, a primary and a caucus. So far, Clinton’s lead is no more as the recent polls indicate that she and Obama are in dead heat regarding the Texas contest. Currently in Texas, Clinton is going to continue to attack Obama on national security and military issues which are very big in this state.
Clinton said: “We need a president who is prepared when the telephone rings at three am to pick it up without job training, without speech making, and make the decisions that will protect and defend the United States of America.”
Recently, Clinton’s campaign had released a TV ad that had brought criticism from the Obama campaign.
“My opponent says it’s fear-mongering to talk about national security and the fact that we are at war. Well, I don’t think the people of Texas scare all that easily,” Clinton said firing back at Obama’s criticism towards the ad. She added: “We have real enemies who are sitting in a cave somewhere trying to figure out how to hurt us again. We’re not going to be able to ignore the reality of the world we live.”
So far, it seems that Hillary Clinton is going to attack Barack Obama on inexperience, health care, and national security. GOP frontrunner John McCain has already went on the offensive on Barack Obama in regards to Iraq.
