Hillary Clinton was in Ohio which is a “must win” state for her. On March 4, Ohio is one of the four states that will hold its primary contests. In rallying supporters against rival Democratic frontrunner Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton would be using the song “A Little Less Conversation” by the late Elvis Presley.
Right off the bat, Clinton started her offensive against Obama.
“You know, for some people this election is about how you feel, it’s about speeches,” Clinton said starting her offensive.
“Well, that’s not what its about for me, its about solutions, its about rolling up your sleeves having a fighter back in the White House who is going to solve America’s problems,” she added.
Clinton has attacked Obama’s message trying to tie it into his inexperience to be the next United States President.
“That’s why I have been very specific in this election. You know, I’ve given a lot of speeches in my life, probably I don’t know, hundreds of thousands. Sometimes I finish a speech and people come up to me and say ‘oh, that was so inspiring. That was so wonderful. It made me feel so good.’ I say ‘well, that’s great but that’s just words.’ Our job is to make a difference,” Clinton explained to the cheering crowd as she continued her offensive on Obama.
She added: “You know change has been talked a lot about in this election. You know change is going to happen whether we do anything or not. Change is part of life. The question is, are we going to make progress together? Are we going to make a real positive difference together?”
This is a clear indication that Clinton saying that she has a better chance than Obama of bringing change to the government. She has stressed that she is a fighter and Obama is not.
She continued the assault on Obama by saying: “I don’t want you leaving my events and saying, ‘that was wonderful, but what was said? What was it about? And what are we going to do?’ Because we need, once again, a fighter and a doer and a champion for the American people in the White House!”
Clinton plans to attack Obama on inexperience in preparation for the March 4 contests. Ohio and Texas are considered to be must win states for Clinton. In Texas, Clinton has attacked Obama on national security as it is the big issue in Texas. Clinton has also been attacking Obama on health care.
