Omar Abdullah, President J&K National Conference said the coalition experiment has failed in J&K because the coalition government in its six years of mis-rule has paralyzed the state administration. He said the coalition government which was a conglomerate of political parties and individuals with divergent ideologies were only bonded by their desire to be in power and so ignored the matters of the state at the altar of their own petty vested interests thereby causing sufferings to the people of the state.
Addressing a series of deputations who called on him in Kargil today, Omar said the need of the hour is a stable one party government to steer the state out of the administrative morass created by the erstwhile PDP-Congress government.
