The 115th Corps Commanders’ Conference was held at General Headquarters here on Friday. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani chaired the meeting. The conference is part of regular monthly conference.
The participants were given comprehensive briefing on security environment. General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani dilated upon the operational preparedness of the Army and various facets of training as 2009 has been declared as "Year of Training".
COAS expressed his satisfaction on the high morale of the Army and urged all commanders to focus on high standard of training.
