Colonel of Pak Army is martyred during exchange of fire with militants in Lal mosque Islamabad

“Colonel Haroon ul Islam Commander of Pakistan Army men deployed around Lal Mosque Islamabad is martyred at one o’ clock during yesterday night, he was injured during exchange of fire with militants inside Lal Mosque Islamabad later he had succumbed to his injuries, a major of Pak Army Mr. Tariq is also injured and is admitted to the hospital,” it is revealed by press release of ISPR.

“Meanwhile frequent exchange of fire and loud explosions are heard in the area around the Lal mosque Islamabad today morning, Prime Minister of Pakistan has held meeting with Parliamentarians belonging to FATA tribal area of Pakistan to seek their help in resolution of Lal mosque confrontation,” government sources have said.
