With Election Day on November 4 only but a few days away, everything is getting very heated and tensed up. We can expect many more polls to be launched from now and Election Day.
Remember, poll results can change from now and until that “magical” day. So far, a new poll launched by CNN/TIME/Research Opinion Corporation that gives results that give favor to Democratic Presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama of Illinois over GOP Presidential nominee Senator John McCain of Arizona.
This new poll reveals that the state of Colorado is leaning towards Obama. Colorado is one of the critical battleground states for the 2008 US Presidential Election. According to the poll results, Obama leads over McCain in Colorado by 53 over 45.
According to CNN Polling Director Keating Holland, Obama is gaining amongst older voters in Colorado.
That spells bad news for McCain. The poll also gives information that spells more bad news for McCain. In the state of Indiana, it is now a heated battle between McCain and Obama. In the past, it was leaning towards McCain. Now, Indiana is very much up for grabs between McCain and Obama.
This further reinforces that Obama is gaining sizable ground over McCain in states won by current US President George W. Bush back in 2000 and 2004.
In regards to Colorado and Indiana, this is according to what today’s poll results say. Still, polls do not determine who becomes the next US President, come November 4.
