In the context of Globalization many of we are deprived from information due to lack of protocols and procedures to be connected with the civil society. So, in order to make the disadvantaged people aware about the role of media and make them accesible to media Relief International had hosted three different telcenter based workshops tiitled Media Telecenter Workshop, a part of Media Access and Education for Human Rights Program on 26May through 28May2008 at Comilla with the major funding of European Union. The principal objective behind the workshop was to introduce the workshop participants the new communication technologies and enrich their professional development through ICT resources. The workshops were addressed by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education &Development), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) and District Education Officer and some other distinguished media Professionals both from Print and eloctronic media. In the workshop the invited guests appreciated the intiatives of ICT integration into the development field in terms of Millenium Development Goals and suggested to expand such kind of innivative workshops in the under served areas who lacks of modern communication technologies and therefore can not achieve the democratic processes. The speakers expected that telecenter workshops will create a gracious impact over media professionals, students and other himan rights activists who will be strongly representing the under privileged communities and help the country to end the poverty by means of sustainable socie-economic growth.
