Kishtwar/Jammu, August 10 (Scoop News)-Kishtwar district Congress strongly condemns the communal clash in Kishtwar. Congress Leaders said that this act of the communal violence is against the humanity and such bad elements are trying to divide the nation on communal basis. He appealed to the Government to take Strict and Strong action against the culprits.
In a joint statement by Senior Congress Leader Subhan Kichloo, Secretary JKPCC Thakur Jughal Bhandari, , Block Presidents including Mohammad Iqbal Keen, Ghulam Qadir Sheikh, Mohammad Iqbal Teli, Chowdhary Rafeeq, Asgar Khangi. President Sarpanch Association Chatroo Tariq Hussain Wani, President Sarpanch Association Drabshallah Akhtar Hussain Tatani, Secretaries including Mushtaq Ahmed Hap, Piyaray lal Sharma, Mahinder Singh Parihar, Ghulam Qadir Tappal, Sarfraz Khan, Ghulam Rasool Marwah, Ravi Shan, Mansoor Ahmed Mattoo, Tariq Mintoo, Kailash Thakur, Noor Hussain, Captan Jaagdish, Satish Kumar, Shanker Wazir, Surjeet Badyal and others the general public to maintain peace and communal harmony.
The Leaders demanded MOS Home Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo (who is also a local MLA) to step down from Ministry on moral grounds. They said had Kitchloo adopted pro active approach and came on to the streets in the first hour to appeal to people who were indulging in rioting the situation would not have gone from bad to worse. Ironically, he could not gather enough courage and failed to lead from the front and failed his constituency people.
Congress leaders also dare Chief minister Omar Abdullah and said CM J&K is extremely busy on his tweet and is either batting for Parveez Rasool’s (J&K cricketer) inclusion in the Indian Cricket Team by showing his resentment and wasting his precious time by escaping from his responsibilities or other related amusements.
Instead of relieving the endless agonies of Chenab valley people, who are dying moment after moment due to continuous high intensity tremors and is waiting for something big disaster and doing nothing practically. The rejection of central package to the poor due to their callous, half hearted and reckless approach has shattered the hopes of the common masses, which have meager hopes of rebuilding their houses again.
The people of erstwhile district Doda especially the people of Kishtwar and Doda are highly thankful to Former R&B Minister and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori’s continuous struggle and hope that it will bear the fruit, very soon the way he is fighting for the cause of common people, who have become the victim of the recent earthquakes.
The fresh quakes have jolted the whole Chenab valley and this time the brunt is more on Kishtwar district.
Congress express their anger, fear and utter disappointment about the callous attitude of the National conference leadership and their approach in demanding cum misleading the Central government regarding the special package for the effected people of Chenab valley but at the same are hoping the justice because of the continuous efforts of G M Saroori MLA Inderwal might help in opening the eyes of the deaf government.
