Congress mother of corruption, terrorism: JD (U)

 Jammu and Kashmir: Rejecting Kejriwal’s theory of attacking families and individuals on the pretext of corruption, Mr. K C Tyagi, National Spokesperson & Secretary General Janta Dal United (JDU) said that opposition or expose on party level is a democratic way to express anger or resentment against tainted persons. Pin pointing a person or a family is neither parliamentary nor constitutional.

Mr Tyagi while replying a question said that it was United Progressive Alliance (UPA)-II and Congress which forced Kashmiris to pick the gun after polls were rigged in 1983. Congress not only is responsible for destruction of unity in diversity of Kashmir but also is mother of corruption in the country, he added. Governments have spent huge money over the expenses of interlocutors and get nothing positive out of their year long efforts. He asked that what was needed to appoint them uselessly. 

Commenting on National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Mr Tyagi said that there is no difference between various constituents if alliance and JDU is working on set designs by the party leadership. Nitish Kumar is being praised for his good work as chief minister and is not subject of becoming of Prime Minister, he said adding that NDA is perfect amalgam of various political parties and PM candidate is no issue.

When asked why his party has appointed one state president and a president for Kashmir separately, he said that actually party is looking for a candidate who is acceptable in all three regions as the state is divided on regional and religious lines. “We are not dividing the state but government itself is of similar belief, even BJP and NPP are demanding the trifurcation of state” he replied to a query.

Mr. Tyagi who was on one day tour to J&K, said that party workers are organizing a two days program for party president before November 25^th. One day function would be held in Kashmir and one day in Jammu hopefully in the next month, he informed.
