Conway Wickliffe was 41 when he was killed in a stunt accident on the set of Batman: The Dark Knight. Conway Wickliffe is of Maori descent, and grew up in Paeroa, New Zealand. Conway Wickliffe was married to Derryn Chase, with whom he had two children, daughter Eden and son Sabian.
Apparently Conway Wickliffe died while filming a stunt scene for the new Batman film, crashing into a tree while driving a 4-wheel vehicle in Surrey. His funerals in the UK and New Zealand were attended by over 500, including Christian Bale.
Conway Wickliffe is remembered in the credits of Batman: The Dark Knight, along with Heath Ledger, who killed himself during the filming. Some consider Terry Gilliam "cursed" for the frequent bad luck and tragedy that befall his productions.
