Country Artist Superstar, Miranda Lambert’s, private jet was forced to make an emergency landing in Clarksburg, West Virginia on her way back to Nashville, Tennessee from several appearances in New York where she had been promoting her new album according to a report by Nashville’s News Channel 5.

Lambert’s jet suddenly lost pressure and the crew had to stop for about three hours before they could resume their trip back to Nashville. She took to the social media to let her fans in on what had happened, by writing, “Our plane had an emergency landing in Clarksburg, West Virginia…but, don’t worry we found platinum fire suits…yes, #platinum.”

Lambert and her team arrived back to the Smyrna Airport around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Miranda’s new album “Platinum” was released on Tuesday; and on Wednesday night she and Carrie Underwood will be performing at the CMT Music Awards in Nashville. She and her husband Blake Shelton will participate in the CMA Music Festival’s concert at LP Field on Friday.

She’ll take off again on Saturday for Dallas, Texas to help George Strait who is performing his last concert.

The Country Music Hall of Fame that recently opened to the public will display an exhibit, “Miranda Lambert: Backstage Access;” it will include gowns, stage costumes, awards and much more from the reigning CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year.
