There were no visitors during new year celebration at that place as well. Many people saying that people are fearing to visit there for recent violation across the country. But normally every year at new year celebration time this place turns into a celebration place. Not to left behind the Kuakata sea beach also. The hotel owners and the street shop owners of these two places are spending very hopeless and anxious time and hoping for the situation will tern back again as soon as possible.
The hotel administration inform that this is the first time in this decade when no advance booking was made. General Manager of Cox’s Bazaar guest house told that there is a huge downfall in tourism business now. Last few days the hotel owners were thinking that during the 31 night of December they will earn some decent sort of money. But all their hopes were fallen into the sea. There were almost no tourist went there during that time.
The manager of Kuakata Tourism Center Truman Imtiaj said that every year thousands of local and international tourists comes here to celebrate the 31 night. But this year there was not a single tourist there. Some hotel owners said that it is very difficult for them now to give the salary to their workers as well.
