The Left Parties will officially withdraw its support to the United Progressive Alliance government on Wednesday. They are withdrawing their support over the Indo-US nuclear deal matter.
The Left Parties consists of four parties — CPM, CPI, RSP and Forward Bloc. They have booked an appointment with President of India – " Pratibha Patil " to submit their letter of withdrawal of support to the United Progressive Alliance government.
Prime Minister of India – "Manmohan Singh" who is currently in Japan for the G-8 summit said that the Left Parties’s withdrawal of support to United Progressive Alliance ( UPA ) government would not affect the stability of the UPA government.
According to Manmohan Singh, India will approach The International Atomic Energy Agency for the Indo- US nuclear deal.
