Crack police investigators are all out for the manhunt of the killers of the 10 innocent bank employees who were murdered in broad daylight inside the Rizal Banking Commercial Corp. in the town of Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines last week.
The unconscientious killing had infuriated the president, who ordered the Philippine National Police to track down the killers in the soonest possible time before they could harm other people again.
It could have been solved with the last of the survivors being treated in one of the nearest hospitals in the town of Cabuyao, Laguna, but the lack of modern medical facilities may have contributed to the sad situation. This is not to mention the seriousness of the injury that the victim suffered before he was brought to the hospital.
Reports said all the victims were shot in the head, thereby making it impossible for them to survive. Perhaps, the suspects were known to most of the bank employees so the only recourse to hide the suspects identities was to kill everybody inside the bank even before the bank could start its early morning operations. Neighbors said they haven’t heard any shot during that day. It could be that the suspects used a handgun that was fitted with a silencer.
PNP chief Avelino Razon immediately called a conference with the top police officials in the Calbarzon Area to identify and arrest the prime suspects. Already, two of the bank’s security guards were called for questioning and they were negative of powder burns, an evidence that could have implicated them to the crime. Now, they are in police custody and will serve as major witnesses in the said murder. The police believed that these two security guards knew something about the bank robbery.
But some crime analysts and the police are in a limbo as to why the suspects killed the bank employees when normally, money is the only purpose for most bank robberies. There is a strong possibility that one of the suspects may have been working inside the bank and may have a grudge against most of the victims.
It is hoped that the suspects will soon be caught through the help of some witnesses to the crime. The raising of the reward money for those who can tell the police the identities of the suspects may be a great help for their immediate arrest. The crime was done in broad daylight so that it would be impossible if nobody has ever seen the suspects coming out of the back door. Then, they used one of the victim’s cars as a getawayvehicle and abandoned it later somewhere.
With the rising economic difficulties in the country, some people are trying desperately to think of anything that would give them instant money atthe expense of other people’s lives. In this kind of situation, the unacceptable dog-eat-dog competition is slowly getting inevitable these days.
There are really people who couldn’t think of a much better way to survive because others just do what they think is easy and convenient for themto get what they wanted in life.
