71 Resolution of Pakistan day celebrated by FCPS and Chitral scouts.
CHITRAL: To pay rich tribute and remembers sacrifices of our pioneers and great leaders regarding passing of Pakistan resolution on 23 March, 1940 a colorful event was held at Frontier Corps Public School (FCPS) Chitral. Commandant Chitral Scouts Col Haroon Rashid was chief guest on the occasion. The ceremony was started with the recitation from the Holy Quran while students of different classes of FCPS presented Hamd, Naath Sharif and they sing national song. Some female students presented national song. Chief guest also hoisted national Flag and the participants stood in honor of national Anthem. Small kids presented a dress show of our cultural heritage of four provinces. A culture show of Chitral folk music was also presented on the occasion which enthralled the participants. A speech competition on the title of resolution of Pakistan day was also held among students of different classes. The speakers paid rich tribute to our great national heroes like Allama Iqbal, Quaide Azam whose sacrifices caused for creation of our mother land. The speakers stressed on the participants that this country is a God Blessing and this is our moral obligation to protect this country and to play vital role for development of our nation and motherland. At last chief guest distributed awards and certificates among the students who performed excellently.
Cricket Match on the occasion of Pakistan Resolution Day
CHITRAL: A cricket match in rememorize of 71st Resolution of Pakistan day was played between Chitral Scouts and Degree College Chitral cricket team. Winning the toss Degree College team decided of first batting. Achieving the target of 68 runs all players of degree college were out. They success to score 15 runs on fixed target of 68 runs. While Chitral Scouts cricket team achieved the said target in 14 over with a loss of 6 wickets and won the math. Chitral scouts was declared winner team while Degree College was announced as runner up team. Nike Mahmood of Chitral Scouts was declared man of the match on achieving of 5 wickets. Havaldar was declared best player of the match. Commandant Scouts and District Coordination Officer Chitral as well as District Police Officer Haji Abdul Rashid distributed awards and cash prizes among the players. A large number of spectators were present on the occasion. Chief guest awarded rupees 4000 for winner team, 3000 for runner up team and 1000 for man of the math.
