Srinagar,July 14,(Scoop News)-All Party Hurriyat Conference(APHC)leader and head Mutheda Majlis-e-Ulema, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has called upon the Muslim Ummah to devote their major time in worshipping Allah to get more and more blessings in this holy month of Ramzaan.
Addressing a congregation at Abu Bakar Sidiq mosque at Nawakdal, Mirwaiz elaborately delved at the religious significance and benefits of Ramzaan.
He stated that special attention have been given in Islam for the protecting the rights of the people, adding, scores of people in our society have turned their backs towards fulfilling those religious responsibilities.
Mirwaiz said that to get maximum blessings in this holy month of Ramzaan, people should check their materialistic demands, be kind to poor and needy, play their role in building healthy society and deliver their services for protecting the rights of people.
Condemning the aggression of Israel on innocent Palestinians, Mirwaiz argued that the role of UN acting as mute spectator over the large scale human tragedy was exceptionally a cause of regret.
He said that innocent Palestnians in this holy month of Ramzaan were subjected to wanton bombing and killed by the Israeli army and the Israeli state.
APHC leader said that criminal silence by world community over the killing of Palestinians was highly shameful.
