Criminals Caught Using Dead People’s Passports

There are all kinds of criminals in many avenues of our world today; and this includes the uncovering of a human trafficking gang that Berlin police discovered were using dead people’s passports for the purpose of smuggling into Germany.

It’s my opinion this proves that people are not safe from criminals even after death because there is always someone out there searching for a way to prey upon people which includes the dead. This is a horrendous act against those people who have passed away and expect peace.

ABC News reported that on Thursday there were 120 officers who raided several buildings in the German capital, including an Islamic funeral home which was run by a Syrian national.

There were about 50 German, Moroccan, Egyptian and other passports found by police during the raid according to a Federal police spokesman Jens Schobranski.

The gang appears to have charged up to 5,000 euros ($6,830) per passport to Syrians and other people who desires to come to Germany, Schobranski said.

There are four main suspects aged 34 to 53, in addition to a city official who is also suspected and they’re investigating as suspects of providing false registration documents to people who entered the country illegally.
