CRUCIAL SITUATION IN ORISSA.

Globe Report (Cuttack,Orissa,India) : Due To Continuous Raining In Most Of The Major Places Of East And North Orissa Situation Became Worst To Worsten. Due To The Flood Situation In The River Mahanadi System Is Being Aggravating In Every Single Minute Or even In Passing Of Every Seconds As The Flood Water Of Mahanadi river Affecting The Downsterams Belt Of Submerging Vast Plain Areas And Fields.
                                     The Water Level Of Major Rivers Are Steadily Rising In Every Minutes.
The Orissa State Government Had Announced A High Flood Alert On Thursday After A High Level Of Meeting . There Is A High Flood Alert In Four Major Coastal Districts-Cuttack,Jagatsinghpur,Kenderapara And Puri . The Entire  Cuttack Is Surrounded By Two Rivers And Some Canals. In North Side River Mahanadi Which Is The Longest River In India And In The South Side Kathajodi River Is Sourounding The Entire Cuttack Town.
                                There Is Planning To Shift The Residents Of Lower Level Areas To The Safer Places. 26 Gates Of The Hirakud Dam On River Mahanadi  Have Been Opened For Quick Release Of Flood Water Because The Flood Water Has Reached It Maximum Capacity Of 630 Feets . Mean While The Inflow Of Flood Water Into The Reservoir Was Recorded  4.6 Lakh Cusec On Friday morning And  An Same Amount Of Flood Water Was Being Released Through The Sluices. Due To Heavy Release Of Flood Water From The  Hirakud Reservoir The Flow Of Water Was Recorded 14.38 Lakhs Cusec And Mean While It Was Recorded At 14 Lakhs At The Place Munduli In The Morning.
                             Mahanadi Warer Already Entered In Many Many Lower  Places Of Cuttack District-Banki, Athgarh,Narsinghpur, Boudh and Sonepur.The Current Flood Situation In Mahanadi River Was Very Similar To The Situation In 2001, 1982.
All The  Schools And Colleges Will Remain Closed In The Mean Time . All Collectors Are Ordered To Stay Alert With All Govt. Supplies.
