Curtis Sliwa, radio talk show host and founder of the Guardian Angels citizen police group, is back in headlines with the arrest of mobster John A. "Junior" Gotti today.
John A. "Junior" Gotti allegedly orchestrated the attempted assassination of Curtis Sliwa in 1992 after Sliwa made a slanderous remark against the crime boss’ father, John Gotti. John A. "Junior" Gotti was tried for his connection to the attempted murder three times but all three trials were dismissed in a mistrial.
"Junior" Gotti was arrested today on murder conspiracy charges related to three New York-area murders. Curtis Sliwa responded to "Junior" Gotti’s arrest today by saying, "I can’t wait for the day until he gets three hots and a cot and I’ll pay for that expense." Recent reports say that Curtis Sliwa currently lives in Los Angeles.
