Customer is the king is the famous business slogan that is omnipotent everywhere . we can find it in any commercial, media and in any business transaction .
Is really Customer is the king ? i would like to check the veracity of the slogan with you all . The other day we had some problem with the internet we were getting some error messages . VSNL is our broadband . when we dial the free toll from the call center we were treated with Hindustani music and messages that our calls are precious and we should not keep the phone down . By holding the phone our hands started aching and we took turns to hold our phone . This is not only in VSNL while i was working in a shipping company we had a broadband of different company . There also we had to wait for eternity.
Another time we had purchased a computer from a local vendor , Before the purchase he used to make innnumurable calls pestering us to buy the computer . once it was installed we had to be after him . It seems that he had dissappeared from the earth . To get a small work done we need the patience of a saint .
I would be happy to know if anybody really experience the royal treatment . As now I am really vary about this slogan
