Ohio’s Cuyahoga County, home to the city of Cleveland, is under a corruption investigation by the IRS and FBI. Teams from the FBI and IRS searched the County Administration building, the data center and the county engineer’s office today.
The details of the investigation have not been disclosed because the teams are searching with the authority of a sealed affidavit.
In addition to the county buildings listed above, teams are searching the homes of County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora and County Auditor Frank Russo. Jimmy Dimora has served as Cuyahoga County Commissioner since 1998.
