Cyclothon in Srinagar,Kashmir

Srinagar,April 15 (Scoop News) – The District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Baseer Ahmad Khan flagged off a cyclothon from Poloview to Bakshi Stadium here today. The cycle rally was organised by an NGO ‘CHANGE’, a local socio environment group in collaboration with various cycle associations of the state. About 1500 cyclists participated in the rally.

The objective of organising the rally was to bring about positive change in the health, socio-economic and cultural environment of the state at micro level so that real change can be caused at macro level.

Among others, Tafazul Husain, Executive President, J&K Bank and Aamir Ali were present on the occasion.

Later, a colourful event was organised at Indoor Stadium Srinagar in which a large number of people participated.
