TROCAIRE presented rehabilitation fund to needy widow.
CHITRAL: Easy and Equitable Access to Justice of Women of Chitral a project of TROCAIRE presented a chequ of worth 20000 to a widow woman of Drosh area. Niaz Ali Shah project Coordinator and General Secretary of Legal Aid Forum for Human Rights Chitral presented rehabilitation Cheque to widow woman in a simple function. Prominent Social worker and President Young Star Development Organization Drosh Asfandiar Khan were also present on the occasion. He stressed upon the widow woman to launch their own business and to invest the amount so as to gain their livelihood with a best and fair way.
DADCO stressed on conservation of Forest.
Farid Ahmad President Drosh Area Development & Conservation Organization while talking to local journalist expressed his great concern over cutting of forest with a speedy way but plantation ratio is very slow as comparative to cutting. He demanded from high ups of Environment Department for play vital role in protection of forest and conservation of natural resources. He said forest is decreasing fast with increasing in population due to lack of awareness among the masses. He said that this moral obligation of forest staff to improve plantation and arrange for their conservation. He also demanded from the concern quarter for arrangement of alternate ways of fuel as well as supply of liquid gas on subsidies rate so as to save forest. He also proposed for conducting seminars, workshop regarding imparting information and awareness of importance of forest and conservation of environment as well as to involve local community in conservation of forest with a felling of ownership among them.
