Daniel Dae Kim is one of the most prominent Asian actors in mainstream American television. He is currently known for his role as Jin-Soo Kwon in the ABC television series called ‘Lost.’ The Korean actor is also notable for playing Gavin in ‘Angel’ and Matheson in ‘Crusade.’ He said that he would fully cooperate with the police and was released on bail early Thursday.
According to the police, Daniel Dae Kim was driving irregularly. Upon making him do a blood-alcohol test, Daniel Dae Kim had a level that was twice the legal limit. The actor was beyond the legal limit. His court date will be November 23, 2007.
Daniel Dae Kim isn’t the only actor to be arrested for a traffic offense in the state of Hawaii. Lost is filmed throughout the state of Hawaii. He is the fourth star from Lost to be arrested on such an offense.
Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros both pleaded guilty to charges on driving while being over the legal limit. Rodriguez spent five days in jail and paid $357 in fines. Watros had her license suspended for three months and paid $312 in fines.
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje was accused of disobeying police and driving without a license. However, the charges against him were dropped.
Daniel Dae Kim would be the third Lost star to be arrested for driving over the legal limit.
The Lost star states: “To those I have disappointed I can only ask that you accept my heartfelt apologies. I am truly, truly sorry.”
