Save Darfur Coalition
The Save Darfur Coalition is a diverse alliance of more than 160 faith-based, humanitarian, and human rights organizations representing 130 million Americans, assembled to raise public awareness and to mobilize efforts to end the genocide in Darfur and reduce the suffering in nearby refugee camps. The coalition seeks U.S. pressure to win immediate, international action to protect victims of genocide and “ethnic cleansing,” and to allow the survivors a safe and dignified return to their homes and villages.

Amnesty International
Amnesty International (AI) is a worldwide human rights organization. AI has more than 2.2 million members, supporters and subscribers in over 150 countries and territories in every region of the world.  AI seeks to preserve the human rights defined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards.  In pursuit of this vision, AI undertakes research and action focused on preventing and ending grave abuses of the rights to physical and mental integrity, freedom of conscience and expression, and freedom from discrimination, within the context of its work to promote all human rights.

GroundReport
GroundReport.com is a grassroots citizen news portal that shares revenues with contributors.  GroundReport’s mission is to democratize the media and enable participation free of government censorship or financial restrictions.  Over 1,500 international contributors have posted 17,000 original news reports  on GroundReport.  GroundReport’s honors include awards at the Open Source Meets Business conference, endorsement by One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) and selection for the Waldzell Institute’s 2007 Architects of the Future program. New York Times Publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. describes GroundReport’s mission as "putting yourself out there for the good of democracy." GroundReport is presently a finalist in the Echoing Green Fellowship competition.
