Dasavatharam, a trilingual movie will be released on Friday, the 13 th June in India.The movie will be released in Tamil,Telugu and Hindi simultaneously.
On June 13, Oscar Ravichandran’s Dasavatharam will be released in more than 134 screens across the city, 104 more than Sivaji and scheduled for 87 shows a day in the city.
After making waves for having the highest number of prints made for a Tamil Film (1000 prints) Dasavatharam, the most awaited flick of the year will once again create a record on June 13 for releasing in more than 134 screens in the city and the surroundings suburbs alone.According to trade pundits, this is the first of its kind in the Tamil Film industry.
Producer Oscar Ravichandiran, who has just returned from Tirupati after performing a special pooja for the film’s reel at Lord Balaji’s shrine, confirmed that the film is scheduled for 87 shows in Chennai alone. For the suburban movie complexes Mayajal and Prarthana, the movie will have two shows respectively. Even Rajinikanth’s Sivaji was released only in 30 screens, revealed the spokesperson for Mayajal.
Refusing to sell the rights of the movie to any media giants or corporates, instead Ravichandiran chose to release the film comprehensively throughout the world. This in itself is a big feet for a film of this scale.
Again Dasavatharam will be the only movie that will be screened in Chennai and its suburbs in the coming weeks.
Kamal’s fans worldwide are all gearing up for the release of Dasavatharam.
