Kargil, February 11, (Scoop News)-Deputy Commissioner, Kargil today met and interacted with the residents of Zanskar Sub-Division stranded at Leh due to the threat posed to the world famous Chadar River route by the Tserab Chu (Phuktal) river landslide.

The District Administration of Leh and Kargil have blocked the Chadar frozen river route with effect from 17 January for locals and tourists as the route faces the threat of a flash flood in the eventuality of a sudden breach in the blockage across the Phuktal River.
