Pakistan– Mingora: On Sunday a Muslim leader in Pakistan’s unstable Swat Valley set dead line for the Pakistan Government to implement Islamic Law Sharia based on the peace deal.
In Swat’s main city of Mingora the Cleric Sufi Mohammad a Muslim leader who conducts a peace march with local Pakistani peoples, said the government must fulfill its promise to set up strict Islamic courts in the Swat Valley region by March 15 or face protest. He added that the government has not yet taken any practical steps toward implementing the court system.
Mohammad discusses a controversial deal with officials from North West Frontier Province to allow Sharia to be imposed in the region that includes Swat Valley. Due to this implementation of sharia the local Taliban militants promised to end their two-year violent insurgency.
Mohammad also called on both sides to release each others prisoners before mid-March.
Pakistan’s military Also said a convoy of security forces was attacked by a roadside bomb and small arms fire in Kabal district of Swat, wounding at least one soldier.
Richard Holbrooke the US special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan expressed concern over a deal Pakistani authorities reached with pro-Taliban militants in the Swat valley in north-western Pakistan.
The US president Obama already warns Pakistan government for is act with militants and he mention the Pakistan is a safe haven for militants. Now this complete surrender makes worry him. The NATO is in threat due to this deal.
Due to this deal the Taliban’s just 150 kilo meters away from Indian border. This one makes India alarmed.
